Jamie Lidell is back and left Jim behind. Lidell dumped his alter ego and recorded an album with Beck: Compass. Toazted spoke with him in Amsterdam about this new album and working with beck.

Jim, Jamies alter ego, is a morning person. Thats obvious when you see this interview. But what is it that that attracts Jamie to Mocky so much? And how is this new album different from Multiply?

"He's like the biceps, you need it to lift the arm"

Toazted found this very funny man called Jamie Lidell somewhere backstage on the Pinkpop festival 2006. His album "Multiply" got very good critics in the English press and almost everywhere in Europe. We asked Jamie about his work, festivals, girls and more! Recorded in June 2006.
